Yesterday I realised the last update was 3 weeks ago—I had to do something about that. The reason why I’ve gone a bit quiet is because I’ve been working hard on building the next beta. The amount of stuff that has to move at the same time is staggering. It’s like persuading an angry god to go somewhere with you and not to smite you with his fist.

Meet Mr. Sandman! The Sandman is a douche by nature.

I won’t be able to put out the gameplay video before the beta is done, so I decided to upload this screenshot to show you one of the areas I worked on about a month ago. I’ll upload another one or two in the next post to give me an excuse to update sooner :). In the teaser, among other things, you’ll be able to see footage of some of these areas and their enemies; a picture just doesn’t cut it for me (especially after spending so much time animating the enemies!).

If you’re curious about the little green guy on the right, you’ll have a cute moment of déjà-vu in the next update.
